Physical Characteristics In physical terms, this resource is durable, interactive, and provides high quality audio-visual and tactile experiences for all users if appropriate. In physical terms, this resource is somewhat fragile in construction and provides limited tactile experiences for students. This is an online text meaning that physicality is only limited to hardware. It is highly interactive. However, there were some YouTube links that did not work as those videos are no longer viewable. This is a big flaw. All videos should be embedded and not available through YouTube due to availability. Also, many YouTube videos go through district filters and may not be available dependent on each district's different filters. Additionally, the online text lacked images, paintings, etc. which greatly enhance the visual appeal of texts for students and add to the educational experience.

Perrine's Literature Mindtrap 2.0 provides three paths to assessment: varied writing prompts, multiple-choice pretests, and multiple-choice posttests (to include a test bank for the provided literary texts). There is a range of supplementary supports to help students perform these three assessments to include a variety of student writing samples. There are no performance tasks. The assessments align with core objectives of AP Standards.
