Reviewed, but not recommended. While the uses of this text may be functional in a hard copy format, the digital platform provided for this text was difficult to navigate. It provided very little added value to the print version. Lack of interactive components for students that aligned with the core and would improve the student facing experience.

The physical characteristics online are visually appealing, interactive, and easy to listen to (as each reading is provided with an audio option.). The instructional support provides learning objectives for each piece of literature while being tied into the core curriculum. Lessons also provide progression for students and teachers to achieve learning objectives. There is a large variety of supplemental resources for both students and teachers to utilize ranging from short to long informational texts and short and long fictional texts. The assessments provided assess students’ skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Various assessments are also provided to differentiate and meet learners’ needs.
