General observations: Initially the textbook seems very advanced and geared toward AP classes and college/University courses. However, reviewing the content further, several chapters could be used in German 3 classrooms. Some of the grammar concepts as well as topics/themes could be very helpful as a teacher resource as early on as Novice High, especially in a differentiated classroom (as enrichment). There are a lot of online resources such as conversation, audio, and video transcripts, worksheets, and AP guidelines and practice tests. The videos are up to date and engaging. You may have to be careful with appropriateness of content in the video section. This textbook would be great for high school students who come from an immersion program as all of it is written in German and it alligns with AP requirements.
