Evaluation

The textbook meets core standards for AP students. The text gives authentic examples of written text and gives student opportunities to create original ideas in French. The pedagological theories are present, giving student opportuities to practice French in written and spoken form. The French grammar and culture are contextualized throughout the book.

The textbook is age approprate for young, grade-level learners. It has age-appropriate examples and activities that use real-world situations. There are many colorful pictures that are relevant and applicable to the target students. Culture and "new-age" vocabulary are also included in authentic scenarios.

The activities give students opportunities to create original thoughts and ideas in French, and also teaches students grammar thoughout. The activites address different learning styles by giving many different forms of learnin including listening, speaking, writing, and reading.
