The book does not meet 80 per cent of the state core objectives. Although includes accurate information reflecting current pedagogical theories the condensation and density of the texts presented in the units makes it really difficult to be used by teacher and students.
The scope and sequence of the units is well organized and each lesson is based on a critical question which leads the students to work on activities in the five linguistic skills. However the lack of pictures and an attractive format make the book less appealing or motivating.
The content is appropriate for the intended grade level and the materials are securely bound and reinforced.
