This text does an excellent job of intodroding drafting/CAD to the beginner drafting student as well as the advanced students. The information presented is very well written to communicate to the student easy understandable instuctions. The pictures and graphics shown in each chapter make the concepts very clear to the student.
The concepts taught in these chapters covers the State Strands and Standards for CAD Mechanical Design 1 & 2. The chapters in the Content area show what's being taught in each section. It's very easy to find what your looking for. Using the glossary for understanding terms also references the chapter the term is associated with. Very user friendly for students, parents and teachers. Directions are easily understandable. Visuals are excellant. They give good directions in what they are representing.
