The topic of Careers is sufficiently addressed using a variety of instructional means, including Reading and study of text, research portions within written assessments, and reflective writing throughout the student workbook and textbook.

The topics of Professional Skills and the Design Process are more than adequately covered in the text and student workbook.

While the text mentions classroom and lab safety, instuctors will need to supplement the provided materials to align with state standards.

Because portions of the core standards are lab specific, some core standards are not fully covered by the text where different labs have been chosen. Supplementary materials will be necessary on a few of the sections.
