This textbook is a really useful resource for the Food and Nutrition course curriculum. It follows the strands and standards for Foods and Nutrition 1 almost identical. It has more content than what is needed for the course, but it follows the kitchen equipment, food sanitation, kitchen safety and nutrition sections closely. There are useful scenarios students can think about for more study. And, it comes with easy recipes related for each chapter as well as quizzes for students to test their knowledge as they go.
