1/13/25 This text was further reviewed due to a concern from the Utah State Board of Education. The second review revealed the supplemental resources are problematic. In particular, the units created around big questions are very crudely crafted, are not sophisticated in their construction, needlessly polemical, and are potentially biased in their construction. This text is not recommended due to the This textbook overall would be recommended for use in class. However, a strong warning is issued regarding supplemental materials. (The Big Questions Program) Several activities were found to be triggering or can cause frustration with students and parents.
