The textbook is an e-textbook with vocabulary words highlighted. Each page can be read aloud which is beneficial for students with disabilities (i.e. IEP, 504). There is the ability to zoom in and out of the pages to help students see the images more clearly. There are sections of the textbook geared for the election, including the 2024 election cycle. There are several videos included that help explain concepts and are short clips (no more than 5 minutes) to engage learners. There are also pages with different interactive activities and lessons; some of the activities are similar to Thinglink which has different links (look like circles) on an image. If you click on the dots, you can learn more information about the image/topic/concept. This textbook is updated frequently and give broad overviews of various topics to allow for short intro. lessons. It also has leveled lesson summaries that can be adjusted and assessments at the end of each mini-unit.
