This book was evaluated for Digital Literacy since the Computer Tech 1 and 2 are being phased out during the next year.

This book is well organized, colorful and contain step-by-step instructions. The graphics and images are current. Each topic is presented in two or four pages so that reading is minimized. Each topic ends with a hand-on activity. Some activities involve discussions with others; whereas other ask you to try the technology or further investigate through research. Interactive resources are available in the form of Precheck Quizzes, Tutorials, Data Files, Audio Files and Recheck Quizzes.

The margins are notated with helpful links to recent articles and information. An Explore Further section is included to incorporate enrichment activities.

This text does not have Keyboarding technique or Digital Footpring and Cyberbullying concepts. Social media and a cross-curricular final project are also not included.
