Evaluation
The pacing of this curriculum is a good fit for K-2 students, moving at a quick but not overwhelming pace. Lessons are logically sequenced. The curriculum provides meaningful teacher resources. Teachers may appreciate the curriculum’s integration into multiple Learning Management Systems (Google Classroom/Schoolology/Canvas Integration). The included digital resources were engaging and tied very well to the core standards. The curriculum includes multiple 3-Act-Tasks to engage students and can be differentiated for different classrooms’ needs. The curriculum provides extensive assessment options, including meaning diagnostics to help teachers determine student understanding. Translation of curriculum is only available in Spanish. The curriculum includes tasks that require mathematical reasoning and in-depth understanding. Many extension projects are not clearly tied to instruction or standards. The teacher website is somewhat challenging to use. We would evaluate this program as "Recommended Primary".
