The textbook is a good digital tool for teachers and students to use. It goes beyond the traditional thick heavy books students have to carry, or teachers need to have ready in their classrooms. The digital version provides videos that give further understanding to concepts to help students have a better understanding about what those concepts can look like. The digital version allows for highlighting, note-taking and easy searches for students when they are relearning any concepts or preparing for any formal assessment. The graphic and descriptions are very detailed. Although some may be too detailed for student understanding, they provide a basis for students to obtain first depth of knowledge, when added with the text and embedded videos they are a valuable tool for understanding. This text, especially in the digital version, would be a great tool for any introductory psychology teacher to use for a semester or year-long class.
