Teacher recommended based on the following: This electronic collection comes from the State of California that has some different educational standards for what can be taught in the sex ed curriculum than in Utah. Content can be aligned with some of Utah's Health Education Core Standards. Some definitions of terms are inconsistent with Utah definitions and definitions approved by the Utah State Board of Education. May need approval for local school sex ed compliance for some sections. All stats and facts in each lesson are specific to the state of California or are from the CDC website. Has some helpful teacher resources but is not recommended for student use. Teacher resources include ELL and Google translation for other languages, digital notebook, parent interaction section, large introduction section to the program, online assessments and assignments, interactive digital question box, informational website resources, and guided lesson plan ideas.
