This would be an excellent source for phonics and spelling practice. This curriculum provides excellent explicit instruction in the areas of spelling and phonics. It would be a great resource for learning reasoning behind looking for the type of text (narrative, informative, narrative-informative). However, there is limited opportunity to address needs for speaking and listening, as well as deep comprehension. There is also limited/no support in the areas of differentiation and ELL support.
