Overall, this would be an excellent source for phonics and spelling practice. This curriculum provides excellent explicit instruction in this area. It would be a great resource for learning reasoning behind looking for the type of text (narrative, informative, narrative-informative). However, there is limited opportunity for talking and acquiring grade-level content. There is also limited/no support in the areas of differentiation and ELL support.
