Electrical Level 1 is easy to follow and covers all of the strands and standards from Electrician 1 & 2. It was almost as if the strands and standards were written from a previous version of this text. The text covers electrical theory and the processes used to wire a building. It started each module with clearly defined objectives Performance Tasks and Trade Terms (vocabulary) that students will encounter in the module with which they might not be familiar. Progression through the module moves from simple to more complex material. Modules also contain sections called “Think About it”. They are open-ended questions designed to get students to ponder what they just learned, oftentimes bringing in real world examples.
