The Rosen Level Up program is a teacher (computer) directed program with a single approach to learning providing minimal open ended engagement for peer interaction, exploration or discovery in learning. This curriculum did not always meet the Early Childhood Best Practice standards. Many of the curriculum's skill levels were beyond what is considered developmentally appropriate for early childhood programs. While some of the reading and writing materials could be used in accordance with the State Early Childhood standards as a supplement, there is concern for children who are not digitally literate, have Special Needs or are ESL learners.
