This is a higher level supplement to a instructional welding class. The curriculum is not that of beginner level course only, it entails many aspects of the higher level learning throughout each chapter and encompasses all levels of the welding criteria for the beginner, intermediate and advanced levels within the content it contains. The content is of informational and practical application to the welding career path and caters to the theory portion of welding. This book would need supplemental support added if it were to be used solely for the beginning welding classes within the state of Utah. Is does not have GMAW or Blueprint Reading within the curriculum of this book. The added subjects of PAC and CAC do not fall within the beginner level strands adopted by USOE.
