Description
Level 4 – Story 9 – The Nell Fish (60 pages) targets the ‘oo’ sound as in book. The Stories Main Idea/Theme is: I Will Be Tolerant Of My Younger Siblings.
The story is written in manuscript and cursive, and activities include phonetically regular spelling words, hyphenated words, finding action words, root words to add ‘ed, ing ,er,,s, or ly, blend spelling words: ‘br, cr, dr, fr, gr,and pr, finding inferred information and cursive spelling sentences.
Activities also include synonyms, words that have multiple meanings, adjectives that describe words and an antonym or opposite word game.
Science is all about the Rainbow Trout, along with activities about older siblings that provide a supportive atmosphere.
