Mr. King and His Gang features; adding ‘ing’ to words, possessives, following oral directions, using ‘is’ and ‘are’ correctly, using ‘was’ and ‘were’ correctly, the poem ‘Tall Toes” demonstrates using ‘ing’, inging’, ink, ‘inking, very effectively and shows the rule for adding ‘ing.’
It shows the cloze procedure in deciding word endings, ending with ‘ing’ words happening now. It demonstrates comparing alike and different using poetry with ‘unk, onk, ing, ung, ong.’
