Human trafficking affects the lives of thousands of people throughout the U.S. As we become more aware of the prevalence of trafficking, it's clear that university and college faculty and staff are in contact with victims and may have the opportunity to recognize and help them. This course provides faculty and staff with an overview of human trafficking and ways to help identify and potentially prevent its occurrence. Topics include: understanding the scope of trafficking, identifying potential victims, examining case studies, recognizing warning signs, and learning appropriate response strategies.
