The SIPPS program is a standards-aligned, systematic foundational skills program that helps readers in grades K–12 achieve independent, fluent reading through the development of accuracy, automaticity, and prosody. SIPPS Plus is uniquely designed to provide age-appropriate foundational skills intervention for students in grades 4–12 who are reading at a first- or second-grade level. Using an accelerative scope and sequence and reading material that respects the learner, SIPPS Plus merges content from the Beginning and Extension Levels into 55 lessons.
