Reporters Francophones is a four-level, student-centered French language and culture program designed for secondary learners in the U.S. Grounded in a communicative approach, it engages students through thematic units, authentic resources, and real-world tasks that foster meaningful language use and intercultural understanding. Intentionally aligned with ACTFL's World-Readiness Standards for Learning Languages and Utah World Languages Core Standards for Proficiency, Level 4 supports students' progression from Intermediate Mid to Intermediate High proficiency.

Featuring six thematic units, each explores a Francophone region through the voice of a native teenage "reporter." Following a backward design framework, learning is guided by Essential Questions and ACTFL Can-Do Statements. Units culminate in a "projet final" and strengthen advanced communication through Integrated Performance Assessments and scaffolded tasks across all three modes: interpretive, interpersonal, and presentational.

Designed to support French 4 and AP® preparation, Reporters Francophones 4 builds proficiency through AP®-style tasks, thematic vocabulary, and structured practice with multiple-choice and free-response formats. The program includes comprehensive teacher support, such as scripted lessons, proficiency goals, cultural notes, and strategies for differentiation and enrichment. The KWL Hub provides access to interactive digital editions, video and audio resources, editable assessments, rubrics, and more- supporting flexible, effective instruction for all learners.
