This PowerPoint presentation is for Parents and Caregivers that is meant to be presented by trained AAU staff in person or virtually. This training allows audience members to learn and define sex and labor trafficking, understand common misconceptions, and examine how trafficking effects children and teens in Utah. Audience members will also equip themselves with the knowledge to spot red flags and grooming tactics, use trauma-informed approaches to support your child and follow reporting procedures for quick intervention. Lastly, audience members will explore practical strategies to prevent youth from trafficking in their communities and connect them with safe reliable resources for lasting help and recovery.
