This PowerPoint presentation is for adults working with Youth that is meant to be presented by trained AAU staff in person or virtually. This training allows audience members to learn and define sex and labor trafficking, understand common misconceptions, and examine how trafficking effects youth in Utah. Audience members will also equip themselves with the knowledge to spot red flags and grooming tactics, use trauma-informed approaches to support at-risk youth, and follow reporting procedures for quick intervention. Lastly, audience members will discover practical strategies to prevent trafficking in their communities, offer trauma-informed support to effected youth, and connect them with safe reliable resources for lasting help and recovery.
