Students will demonstrate understanding the importance of personal safety and general safety concepts.
Students will demonstrate understanding of who harms children and how.
Students will learn and apply the MBF 5 Safety Rules to recognize and respond appropriately to unsafe situations.
Students will identify at least two Safe Adults and demonstrate knowledge about what to communicate with Safe Adults.
Students will learn how to identify a Safe Friend and demonstrate knowledge about how to use a Safe Friend.
Students will demonstrate increased knowledge regarding the four types of child abuse.
Students will demonstrate identifying Red Flags indicating unsafe situations.

Instructors are required to view a 2.5 hour facilitator training that is located on our website in order to have access to the online resources. Paper-based resources are also provided to instructors and students and will be delivered to schools.
