Each Student Edition (SE) is driven by student inquiry and encourages active learning. Students discuss and analyze primary sources, historical people, and events. As they read articles at their grade level and complete learning activities, they deepen their understanding of the lesson material. The Teacher Edition (TE) includes age-appropriate lessons that align with Utah Core Standards and are designed with predictable time constraints. It also includes teacher background knowledge, essential questions, ELA support, vocabulary, differentiation support, downloadable printables, assessments, and reporting.

The print version of the Student Edition comes in a newspaper format with colorful illustrations and images that are the same as found on the online platform. The printed Teacher Edition is on 3-hole paper for teachers to put in a binder for ease of use, and includes similar resources as found on the online platform. Your purchase also includes a class set of Poster Pals, large printed instant lessons for teachers that help teachers facilitate whole-group discussions, and help students visualize the topics.
