Description
Boost Reading is a literacy acceleration and remediation program based on the Science of Reading that uses adaptive technology to deliver personalized learning instruction for K–5 students. The program allows educators to assess and provide individualized student-led practice in any classroom model, and it joins CKLA and mCLASS to align assessment, core instruction, and personalized learning.

The adaptive, digital, standards-aligned program engages and motivates students through a variety of age- and skill-level appropriate learning experiences in the key skills students need to become successful readers including: Phonological Awareness, Phonics, Decoding, Fluency, Vocabulary, Comprehension, and Close Reading.

Boost Reading’s instruction incorporates principles of effective instructional delivery; the activities engage students in multiple opportunities to practice critical skills at an appropriate pace with consistent feedback and prioritize student engagement and motivation. The program supports all students on their journey to become strong confident readers, with personalized feedback, explicit and tailored scaffolding, and research-based principles for effective instruction.

Boost Reading is proven to accelerate K–5 student reading ability – in just 30-60 minutes a week. Educators can flexibly implement the engaging and adaptive program to support every reader in the classroom; it serves as a remediation or advancement activity. The embedded assessments measure student reading proficiency and growth, and put the right data on student reading progression into teachers’ hands.

Educators can use Boost Reading as a standalone program or alongside Amplify’s cohesive early literacy or biliteracy suite of core curriculum, assessment and personalized learning products.
