Phonics Reading and Me is designed to help students master the skills they need to become proficient readers. This new, supplemental program prioritizes the phonics skills that can be difficult to learn but make a difference for students on the path to reading.
Each text set includes one book and four digital texts, including one short text, two medium-length text, and one longer text to build stamina. Students develop SEL habits by analyzing scenarios of characters. The stories provide engagement opportunities through humorous situations between characters, use of speech, and playful art. Previously learned phonics skills promote recursive review for decoding practice.
