Phonics Reading and Me is designed to help students master the skills they need to become proficient readers. This new, supplemental program prioritizes the phonics skills that can be difficult to learn but make a difference for students on the path to reading.
Each student text is crafted with 80 percent decodability that serves multiple purposes. Texts are intentionally written to closely connect to phonics lessons. Children will read connected text in books and on a digital app to practice decoding and recognizing common words while gaining knowledge. The key learning outcome is independent reading proficiency.
