Struggling readers are under a deadline—they urgently need to catch up to grade level. This 95 Percent Group Intervention Phonological Awareness Package provides teachers with a diagnostic screener to pinpoint a student's precise deficits and effectively implement targeted intervention lessons to address and close specific skill gaps to mastery. No technology to date has been proven to be as effective at teaching children to read as the explicit instruction delivered by the teacher.

The 95 Phonological Awareness Bundle combines two Intervention products; the Phonological Awareness Lessons (PA) Kit and the Phonological Awareness Screener for Intervention (PASI).

PHONOLOGICAL AWARENESS LESSONS (PA) - Qty 4 Kits
The 95 Phonological Awareness (PA) program is designed primarily for pre-K through grade 1, Lessons are sequenced in order from the simplest syllable skills with compound words to the most complex phoneme substitutions. PA lessons provide explicit, systematic instruction to struggling readers by incorporating abstract syllables, rimes, and phonemes. Our goal is to move students to mastery at the single phoneme level as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Each Phonological Awareness Kit includes:
- A Teacher Manual with instructional procedures to teach 39 phonological awareness and readiness skills
- 5 Flip books printed on durable card stock in full color and include pictures representing words used in Skill 5: Phonemes.
- Manipulatives include:
• 65 pre-printed mats (13 different mats @ 5 copies each) Teacher and Student Versions
• 184 shapes (squares, rectangles, and circles and special onset and rime shapes)
• 969 picture cards
• 1 Sturdy plastic carrying case with removable dividers
• 1 set of labels to organize the manipulatives for each skill

PHONOLOGICAL AWARENESS SCREENER for INTERVENTION (PASI) - Schoolwide License
The Phonological Awareness Screener for Intervention (PASI) is an easy-to-administer informal assessment designed to provide information about a student beyond what curriculum-based measures such as DIBELS® and AIMSweb® can provide. The PASI enables teachers to pinpoint deficits, determine where to start instruction, and how to group by skill deficits. Information from the PASI eliminates guessing and allows teachers to make informed decisions about applying Tier 2 and Tier 3 instruction. The PASI includes three Long Forms for progress monitoring.

A student’s performance enables teachers to assess needs, place students in groups by their lowest skill, and go directly to that skill in the recommended instructional materials.

The PASI effectively:
• Identifies mastered and deficit skills in phonological awareness
• Completes initial assessment in 5-10 minutes with Short Form and Long Form A
• Places students in initial groups
• Monitors progress in 1-2 minutes with alternate forms B or C
• Exits students from groups and regroups for the next skills
• Assesses pre- and post-instruction for accountability
• Assesses key phonological awareness skills in syllables, onset-rime, and phonemes
