The SIPPS (Systematic Instruction in Phonological Awareness, Phonics, and Sight Words) program is a standards-aligned, systematic foundational skills program that helps readers in grades K–12 achieve independent, fluent reading through the development of accuracy, automaticity, and prosody. SIPPS Extension Level is aligned with state standards for foundational skills in grade 1. It provides intervention for students in grades 1–3 in need of decoding in the spelling-pattern phase and sight word instruction.
