Evenings for Educators is a free program dedicated to the professional development of elementary and secondary teachers across the state. Evenings offer keynote speakers, hands-on workshops providing in-depth instructional experiences, networking opportunities where participating teachers may share strategies and learn from each other, and free educational materials. Each Evening for Educators is unique in its location and theme taking place at galleries and museums around the state. The topic of each Evening is chosen by the host site and is connected to one of their current exhibitions. Evenings for Educators works to provide ways for all teachers to incorporate art into their core curriculum.

Evenings are offered in-person, virtual, or hybrid and is up to the host site. For Evenings with a virtual option, you must participate on ZOOM during the live event to be eligible for relicensure points. Evenings offered virtually will be recorded and offered as a resource on http://www.smofa.org/e4e-digital-library by the end of the school year, however, credit will NOT be given for recordings, only for synchronous participation.

(Each Evening attended you will receive 3 relicensure points, to receive 1 USBE credit you need to attend 5 different Evenings in the same school year and complete a field test.)
