***TO REGISTER FOR THIS COURSE, YOU MUST HOLD A CURRENT CERTIFICATION IN THE MANDT SYSTEM, WHICH MEANS YOU HAVE BEEN TRAINED AND CERTIFIED WITHIN ONE YEAR OF THE MONTH OF YOUR CURRENT TRAINING DATE!!!

If this is not the case, please unenroll and enroll in a new certification training.

You are required to email the expiration date of your current Mandt certification and the date of the re-certification training you are registered to take to millie.mortensen@schools.utah.gov at least one week prior to the training. If we don't receive this or if your last training was over a year prior to the training date, you will be unenrolled.

This is a yearly refresher course that must be completed to continue your certification status. If your certification has lapsed, you must attend the 2-day new certification course. Participants should wear closed-toed, closed-heel, flat shoes for the training. Depending on the guidelines of the district or local area, face masks may be required. Please bring your own mask. This training will be from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Participants can opt out of the technical skills portion of the training if there are health or safety concerns but will not be certified to do the physical restraints until that portion of the training is completed. They will have the opportunity to complete the physical restraint portion of the training at one of the future training dates scheduled through June 30, 2025.

Training session will be canceled if there are less than five participants registered when registration closes.
