The purpose of this course is to provide working knowledge for current and prospective special education teachers (K-12+) to utilize and interpret basic assessment tools for eligibility under IDEA with the use of standardized assessments. This course will provide training to educators in how to administer (via ipads) and interpret results of the Kaufman Test of Educational Achievement (KTEA-3) and additional assessments as applicable and in accordance with test administration guidelines. This training will allow for educators to obtain hands on practice with support from trainers to navigate the application(s) used.
