Dynamic Learning Maps (DLM) Alternate Assessment administration training is a one-day training for teachers or other staff who will administer the alternate assessment for students with significant cognitive disabilities. Dynamic Learning Maps (DLM) Alternate Assessment administration training is a one-day training for teachers or other staff who will administer the alternate assessment for students with significant cognitive disabilities. This training is targeted for teachers, but also district staff, where participants will learn about the participation criteria for alternate assessments and how to administer the DLM assessments to students with significant cognitive disabilities. In the morning, teachers will complete the DLM required training component, which will be facilitated. In the afternoon, teachers will receive information on alternate assessment compliance, the critical steps needed to successfully administer the DLM assessments in the spring, and where to find resources to help guide instruction throughout the year.
