Administrators will participate in sessions where they will be educated on how to lead a Bridge Program at their high school. Administrators will participate in sessions where they will be educated on how to lead a Bridge Program at their high school. Participants will focus on: State program model for DLI and for the Bridge Program, Fidelity Assurances, University partnership, Course Curriculum, Language Proficiency, Instructional Model Practices and classroom observation, and the co-teaching partnership. Administrators will explore and discuss the foundational principles of the Utah DLI and Bridge Programs, discuss how the Bridge Program benefits multilingual student populations in their high school toward college and career readiness goals, understand the Administrative Calendar duties and State Program Assurances expectations for the program model. Finally, administrators will make a plan for recruitment, enrollment, and academic support for Bridge Program students that meshes with their school’s systems of support.
