The Utah Principal Professional Networks (PPNs) are volunteer communities of practice for district principals, district assistant principals, charter and private school directors, and assistant charter and private school directors. The Utah Principal Professional Networks (PPNs) are volunteer communities of practice for district principals, district assistant principals, charter and private school directors, and assistant charter and private school directors. PPNs provide a closed space for school leaders to examine problems of practice with their peers and work through cycles of continuous improvement.

Each PPN space includes a qualified peer facilitator to help school leaders share resources and ideas, explore and question their understandings, solve challenges, and form collaborative plans for action and improvement. The group discussions focus on practical cases drawn from the school leaders’ work are organized around clear agendas and protocols.

Some PPNs are region-based networks and others are statewide networks. School leaders are welcome to participate in multiple PPNs.

Re-licensure credits may be awarded based on the time each school leader is able to participate. PPN sessions are held monthly. Attendance at all sessions will qualify for 45 re-licensure credits.
