Government Records Access Management Act
Professionalism Policy Procedure Training by Lindsey Lovell and Laura Iranzo
Purpose to managing, classifying, accessing, disposing and retaining records.
Outside parties can request information, but the principal can say which information is shared.
Student records are different-Personal information-FERPA
Written request sent to records officer (Ryan Robinson)
Cost of page is .10 (based on not requiring a huge fee)
If not happy with records, can appeal to the board President and then to the State.
Board of Directors approve minutes at the next regularly scheduled meeting.
Examples: Citizenship, emails, budgets
We are a public entity, so information can be requested.
Be cautious and professional in emails, it could be misunderstood or pieces taken out of context.
-When sending students to the office-send information about why.
??????Send more information about why the student is there.
??????It is okay if they are being sent for a break but let them know.
??????This allows the Administration to do better with helping them.

-ISA Assembly-February 29
??????Intent: regain the formality and special nature of the ESA assembly.
??????Currently about 1 hour (Advisory and part of 4th period).
??????The plan is to start at 2:10 PM.
??????Those attending are there to support in an appropriate manner.
??????List of students from advisory who can come and be trusted.
??????Must be in school uniform or better.
??????Jr. High Teachers will mark off rosters of those who cannot attend.
??????Jr. High teachers come with the students and sit with them.
??????If students are having a poor attitude, then don’t bring them.
