Ririe-Woodbury Teacher Workshop is designed for teachers who are working in the secondary school settings. Shared experiences in contemporary modern technique, improvisation, choreography, theory, and elective dance classes will provide participants the opportunity for artistic growth and rejuvenation as well as development of pedagogical skills. Ririe-Woodbury Teacher Workshop is designed for teachers who are working in the secondary school settings. Shared experiences in contemporary modern technique, improvisation, choreography, theory, and elective dance classes will provide participants the opportunity for artistic growth and rejuvenation as well as development of pedagogical skills. The participants will address the Utah State Core Curriculum requirements, trends in the field, and issues of dance training and dance making in order to increase and elevate the skills and practices of teaching in the field. We strive to make this workshop a space for mutual support and problem solving as a community, as well as a source of inspiration and encouragement.
