This course will provide APPEL Candidates and new teachers with the opportunity to learn about and develop skills needed to meet the needs of diverse learners within their classrooms. These skills include identifying who the diverse learners in their classroom are, how to effectively meet their needs through differentiated instruction and the Universal Design for Learning, as well as supporting ELLs in their language development.
