Depending on the guidelines of the district or local area, face masks may be required. Please bring your own mask. The first day of the training will be from 8:30am to 4pm. The second day (technical/physical restraint skills) will be split up into two groups; the first group will run from 8:30am to 11:30am, the second group will run from 12pm to 3pm. Your group for the second day will be determined on Day 1 of the training. Participants can opt out of the technical skills portion of the training (second day) if there are health or safety concerns but will not be certified to do physical restraints until that portion of the training is completed. They will have the opportunity to complete the physical restraint portion of the training at one of the future training dates scheduled through June 30, 2022.
