This professional learning opportunity will afford school district and charter teams to investigate the essential elements of implementing a personalized, competency based learning system and to identify which essential element(s) each school district or charter may want to focus their efforts on to advance their PCBL work. Each team will analyze their PCBL Readiness Assessment data and the PCBL framework, including key instructional practices, ramping up and designing and transitioning strategies, to identify where local capacity would be best built to move your system forward. Once the area of need is identified, USBE will partner with local and national leaders in PCBL to provide personalized professional learning pathways for participating school districts and charters to advance their understanding in the area identified to be able to build capacity within their own local arena. The personalized professional learning will be offered in early 2022.
