Utah has a statewide license for Canvas for online courses and training. However, each Utah entity has its own "instance" of Canvas. Having an account in one instance of Canvas doesn't automatically give you an account in another instance of Canvas.

So, for example, the Spectrum Charter Canvas for its students is at https://spectrumacademy.instructure.com

The USBE Canvas is at https://usbe.instructure.com. SpEd Associate License Alternate Assessment Options is in Canvas hosted in the USBE Canvas.

So AFTER signing up for the SpEd Associate License Alternate Assessment Options course in MIDAS, the educator needs to have a USBE Canvas account.

If you do not YET have a USBE account in the USBE Canvas, use https://usbe.instructure.com/register so you can create your USBE Canvas account and password. NOTE: USBE strongly recommends using your e-mail address as your USBE Canvas log-in name.
Then use the join code:
https://usbe.instructure.com/register and use the following join code: 7AB88B

OR

If you do ALREADY have a USBE account in Canvas use this URL: https://usbe.instructure.com/enroll/7AB88B

This is an asynchronous section. It has no meeting times because it is self-paced.
