This course is designed to provide Special Education Preschool educators the tools and trainings they need to ensure a productive, safe, and thriving learning environment. This course is an ALTERNATIVE to taking a PRAXIS exam to receive an associate educator license.

Educators receive training and instruction in the following areas:

Utah Early Learning Standards (12 hours recorded in MIDAS for Early Learning Standards Implementation course modules) Behavior Interventions (1 hour) Specia

Some trainings are provided by USBE while others are through partner organizations. Participation and progress through the various steps and requirements will be tracked via this course using small quizzes and assignments. Modules do not need to be completed in any particular order, but all modules must be completed.

Remember you also need to complete Special Education Law Training (18 hours).
