Have you always been interested in bringing film or digital storytelling projects into the classroom for hands-on, engaging assignments? Did you always want to try filmmaking as a class project but felt you lacked the skills to lead these projects with your students? This workshop is for you.

Utah Film Center brings skilled teachers and filmmakers into this two-day, in-person intensive professional development workshop to teach you the basics of filmmaking, and show you how four distinct filmmaking assignments--the Documentary, the Personal Narrative, the Public Service Announcement (PSA), and/or the Instructional Video--can be used in the classroom for engaged learning.

The course has the opportunity to receive either 1.0 USBE Credit, 15.00 Re-licensure Credits, up to 6 Credit Hours for the Education Technology Endorsement, or up to 3 Credit Hours for the Media Arts Endorsement.
