The Utah Early Learning Standards: Ages 3-5 were adopted by the Utah State Board of Education in May 2020. During the 20-21 school year, early childhood educators were introduced and encouraged to become familiar with the new standards. Starting 21-22, all preschool programs are expected to have fully implemented the new standards. This course has been created to support educator’s implementation of the standards. This course consists of 10 modules: Overview of the Standards, Lesson Planning with the Standards, English Language Arts, Fine Arts, Health Education, Lifelong Learning Practices, Mathematics, Physical Education, Science, and Social Studies. These modules can be taken and awarded credit individually.
