Description
Many teachers, through no fault of their own, are poorly educated about dyslexia. They don't understand it and even if they suspect a student has dyslexia, they are not sure what to do about it. This course is designed to teach you the basics of dyslexia while instructing you on best practices for teaching these children. We will also review the Utah Dyslexia Handbook, which was designed to "offer guidance, resources and appropriate supports and interventions for readers with dyslexia."
