The Communicative Disorders Collaboration Meeting provides an opportunity for district Speech Pathologists and Speech Technicians to meet monthly in a small group setting to collaborate with their peers, share job related ideas and receive specialized instruction directly related to their job assignment. The specialized instruction is specific to theory and practice in all aspects of communication disorders. Each group will have an assigned topic to each month in a discussion- based format.

The specialized instruction is specific to theory and practice in all aspects of communication disorders. Each group will have an assigned topic to each month in a discussion- based format. Each collaboration group will have an assigned group leader to take attendance, lead discussions and document ideas and information shared by the group along with the expectation that implementation outcome will be reported at the following collaboration meeting. Notes from each collaboration meeting will be recorded on a google document and will be made available to the collaboration group leaders and the SLP/SLT District-Level Specialist for accountability and documentation of attendance, participation, implementation of acquired skills with their students and report outcome along with documentation of improved student performance.
